I'd like to improve my knowledge in sword training, weapons training, and more hand-to-hand combat. I've focused solely on my Alchemy for such a long time, now, I have nearly abandoned hand-to-hand techniques and am pretty terrible at them. So, I guess you could say I've resorted back to the newbie stage.

Alright then... You'll have to start with the basics. We'll go through punches, kicks, blocks, and finally weapons. Attack this dummy any where you please with only punches. I'll see how you do and give you some pointers. A good 10 hit-combo will do~

Easy enough...
*Punches the dummy in various places across the torso and head in a fast manner, each punch aiming to be stronger than the last*

. . . Good. Now what I want you to focus on is the power you have in your punches. Speed is vital but for right now I want you to to show the force you can deliver in one punch than trying to deliver fast blows. Take a punch from a chamber coil then near then end snap it straight.
*Traces finger to the center of the dummy* Now hit the dummy again ten more times. Try to land your hits right here at the center.

.... What was... Okay let's go back to square one. First off, you need to be in a good stance. I find the back-stance ideal for kicks. You put your body like an L-shape, and distribute your weight 60 back leg and 40 front leg. Like so... *Goes into a back-stance and puts up a guard*
You put your guard up and for starters, left and fold for your kick using the front leg. Then, Quickly strike, recoil it... then set it back down. *Goes up to a dummy, goes into a back-stance, and forcefully strikes it with a roundhouse kick*
Now, I want a 6-count.. use the technique I just demonstrated.
